faster than a war does
the soft tears of a
mother over the
casket of her only
son
an epidemic fills
up the cemeteries
faster than a war
does
but as long as it is
only the poor dying
the government will
be comfortable with
their blind eyes
all they can see is
the money saved
once it hits their
pampered sons
and daughters
then the outrage
will become a
crackdown
a crusade to clean
up these streets
way too late for
countless souls
