day NINE HUNDRED and TWENTY THREE

Today is the last day of flag month....if you're like me (and most aren't) you're probably sick of looking at this ugly piece of co-opted nationalism and its various formats....thank you, once again, to everyone who contributed, as it was a nice break from the norm...speaking of, in September, since the country itself doesn't do it (unless you count Labor Day sales), we are celebrating the American worker and the toil we go through in this mousewheel of a system just to pay our fucking bills...while the whole month won't be this, I'm going to give special focus to poems that are sent related to work and concepts of work, people's experiences at work...as always photographs/essays/rants etc are just as welcome as poetry.
