spin conspiracy theories,
deny the fact their fascist-in-chief
has lost the presidential election.
Around us, coronavirus rages.
Trumpanzis refuse to wear masks,
socially isolate, take any safety precautions.
Infections and death rates skyrocket.
Democracy is on the skids.
Sick, unemployed Americans
cling to fantasies of deliverance.
Grifters grift. Civilization unravels.
