day ONE THOUSAND and THIRTY FIVE

Petulant Prez

President Trump
threatens angrily
to shut down the government
unless he’s given money
to build a wall
preventing Mexicans
from crossing the Rio Grande,
sneaking into America
in hope of a better life.
Trump will punish the people
if he doesn’t get what he wants,
almost unrestricted
in his abuse of power.
